Growing up in a family of health care providers, Dr. Carlson was able to see them develop relationships based on care and compassion, and he realized what a great need he had to make a difference in people’s lives through oral health care.
Dr. Carlson’s practice philosophy is to treat all patients as though they are family members. He strives to provide his patients with comprehensive information and to develop a strategy to achieve optimum oral health while considering each patient’s beliefs, desires and needs. It is a great joy to develop strong relationships, understand his patients’ dental concerns and to create smiles on a daily basis.

Outside the Office
In his free time, Dr. Carlson can most likely be found enjoying life in the outdoors. You may find him and his wife, Erin, running with their 4 dogs on the Chippewa River trails, or you may find him enjoying a sunny evening watching Eau Claire’s local baseball teams, the Express and the Cavaliers. He reminisces in fond memories of the past when he played with the Eau Claire Cavaliers. These days, he expresses his love for baseball by coaching his sons various youth teams. Other interests include hunting and fishing with his dad and brothers, vacationing at the family cabin in the Hayward area, and playing with and watching his three children as they grow and mature.
